We danced goodbye to the Dragon and hello to the Chinese Snake with First Steps Dance. The children enjoyed a themed lesson to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year. They developed their rhythmic response by responding to a different type of music with the chinese drums and symbols. On Sunday 9th December, nine up and coming toddlers danced on stage at St Edmunds Community Hall and presented their families with an amazing 30 minutes of magic. First Steps Dance was very proud to present their christmas production "We Will Rock You!" For some youngsters this was their first time on stage and wow was it a success.

The First Steps Dance Christmas show is scheduled for 9th December 2012 at St Edmunds hall. 11 toddlers are due to take part this year to demonstrate to their families the skills they have learnt during lessons at First Steps Dance. Prize giving for the toddlers and refreshments for the parents will make the day enjoyable for all.

First Steps Dance had the great privilege of running a dance workshop for the Hamstel &Temple extravaganza at Temple Sutton School.

The workshop was a great success, lots of toddlers showed interest in dance. After weeks of practice giggles and wiggles, all pupils performed their dance routine at the Hamstel Showcase where our fantastic dancers were presented with a certificate of dance achievement.
